Moissanite is silicon carbide. It bends light harder than diamond does - 2.65 against 2.42 - and it costs a fraction as much. Everything here is sterling silver 925; where it looks gold, it is plated, and we say so on the piece rather than in a footnote.

We have run this test in the shop 340-odd times. Customers get it right about half the time, which is exactly what you would expect from a coin.

Jugielewicz is run by Mateusz Jugielewicz from Aarhus. Online only - there is no shop and no showroom, and the whole thing has been going since 2025.

Everything is sterling silver 925; where it looks gold, it is plated, and the product page says so. A handful of pieces are made here. Most come from jewellers we buy from directly in China and Italy, and all of it is opened and checked in Aarhus before it goes out. We import it ourselves, so the duty and the VAT are paid long before anything reaches you.
